Their summer fling soon turns into a serious relationship, but the Kennedys have White House dreams and an immigrant wife would never work. After Joe Kennedy forbids their marriage, Alicia trades Hyannis Port for Hollywood, and then Hollywood for Rome. Over the years, she is romanced by celebrities and royalty, but Jack is never too far away. On the eve of his inauguration as President, Alicia and Jack rendezvous one last time, a reuniion that could alter the course of history.--back cover
