Tar River Reservoir grass carp tracking survey, 2013-2014 / Kirk R. Rundle, Evan C. Cartabiano.
"Triploid Grass Carp were acoustically tagged and monitored by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to assess movement patterns in Tar River Reservoir, a low head dam, run of river reservoir during 2013-2014. Hydrilla was first detected in the Sapony Creek section of the reservoir in the early 2000s and has been suppressed with herbicide treatments. In June 2013, Grass Carp were stocked for the first time in this reservoir. Acoustically tagged fish were monitored with an array of passive receivers (n = 10) from June 2013 through June 2014."--Abstract, page 1.
