Summary:

P.I. Regan Reilly, her husband Jack and her parents Luke and Nora, and amateur sleuth Alvirah Meehan and her husband Willy head to New Hampshire with hopes of an old-fashioned holiday. There, a group of employees at the local market learn that they've won 160 million dollars in the lottery. One of their co-workers, Duncan, on the advice of a pair of crooks masquerading as financial advisers, decided at the last minute not to play. He goes missing. A second winning lottery ticket was purchased in the next town but the winner hasn't come forward.
