Based on the infamous CIA experiments from the early 1960s, the psychological thriller follows a brilliant doctor who unknowingly becomes entangled with a dangerous government entity fixated on mind control. When his research is hijacked by the agency, the psychiatrist is recruited to run a subsect of the program in a rural Mississippi mental hospital.
