And the crowd went wild / Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

Summary:

After experiencing a highly public professional setback, Dancy Flynn seeks privacy at the secluded lake house of her former high school boyfriend, whom she has not seen in nearly twenty years. Clint Garrett, now a professional quarterback for the Chicago Stars, is still affected by the end of their teenage relationship and is reluctant to welcome the unexpected disruption to his carefully managed life. He arranges for Dancy to stay in a renovated railroad caboose on the property while she works to reassess her career and personal circumstances. As Dancy attempts to rebuild her professional reputation and Clint focuses on his athletic career, unresolved issues from their past resurface. Complicating matters are family dynamics, community concerns, outside relationships, and shared responsibilities. Their renewed proximity prompts both to reconsider their past relationship and the possibility of a future together.
